They called it gestures; we built a language. They called us mute; our ancestors fought tirelessly until the world recognized our voice and our rights.
Recognition does not mean we stop. We keep the wind alive with our hands, brushing noise and ego away to keep our Deaf community united, resilient, and undivided.
